A New Career

Last updated on July 11, 2019

I love to write. You can blame my Uncle David and Mr. Benge (my first high school journalism teacher), who coaxed a passion for writing out of me at age 15. They made me feel as though I had something worthwhile to say, and that I had the talent to say it clearly.

You can also blame Dr. William Strange at the University of Oregon. I came to the U of O knowing how to write, but Dr. Strange provided the why. After his classes, I had a passion to write. I wanted to “…make the words move and, in just time, dance.”

After 37 years in the Information Technology business, I’m more than ready to do something new, something where I can let my creative energy run free. I want to write fiction, baby, spinning tales of romance and adventure.

My greatest hope, of course, is that the tales will delight you enough that you will happily part with a few of your hard-earned dollars to own some of my work.
